SCIENCE PORTFOLIO

Okay, I admit: I have a "normal" life that's a full-time job, and a former  life that involved scientific research. And it's under my real name.

I've set this area out as follows :   (apologies, I am unable to link them at present. Contacting the excellent Weebly techs about this)

  • Qualifications (including CV)
  • Professional Memberships
  • Short Courses/Certificates/Experience
  • Employment/Study
  • List of Publications, Presentations, Poster Presentations, Co-Author
  • Scholarships/Grants received (study related)
  • Successful Grant Applications (non-study related)

QUALIFICATIONS

Doctor of Philosophy, The Flinders University of South Australia, Bedford Park, South Australia
Airborne UVB Radiation Measurements and Attenuation: Clear and Cloudy Conditions
Design and development of new scientific instruments to measure the transmission of Ultraviolet-B radiation  above and below a cloud layer at Billiatt Conservation Park, S.A.

Bachelor of Science, Honours (First Class) by Thesis and Coursework, Flinders University
Airborne Vegetation Measurements over Hincks Conservation Park, South Australia
A forerunner to the PhD, this project analysed albedo measurements above Hincks Park S.A., and involved researching instrument design, direct liaison with the University's aircraft group, data analysis, and  teamwork.
