Update to Blog: 10 April 2016  After a break...

Science laboratory manager by day, mystery and thriller author by night...and conservationist and ornothologist on the weekends.

Hi All

I'm back, and I'll gradually update these pages.

I've recently forwarded  The Isthmus to an Australian publisher for consideration and I'm planning the second book of this series. The Isthmus is a whodunit set in the UK in 1878 and the first of The Doctor Finemore Mysteries.

My beloved The Max Murdoch Series is on hold at present - on hold, not dead and buried. Since I started it, there have been SO many books on that sort of topic that I'm going to change the focus - which is probably a relief anyway and should bring down the word count!

Quotes on this page are from a range of sources, books, Twitter, and Facebook. A few I use regularly are: Jon Winokur's Advice to Writers (@AdviceToWriters), James Scott Bell (@jamesscottbell), Mark O'Brien (@markobrienwrite)  and many others.

The photos are mostly mine. Where they're not, I've endeavoured to include the website address and/or photographer's name (if known). The ones of yours truly were snapped by the truly talented Lisa Picciau (www.lisapicciau.com.au) with makeup by the just as talented Lauren Hagger (Make-up by Lauren).

Contact me via the Contact tab (under the header pic).

Happy Writing

Bo

PS I just have to find the right codes to change the local temperature in the side bar. Meanwhile, enjoy the Penrith temperature information!
